As part of our team, you'll have the tools and training to succeed in a clean and safe work environment.

    You'll play a key role in ensuring the continued efficiency of our workshop processes by providing engineering support to designated areas of responsibility. This includes preparing detailed work instructions for the repair and overhaul of gas turbine engines and structural Nacelles, as well as maintaining work and inspection packages within our Enterprise Planning Resource system.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive work instructions for repair and overhaul activities.
    • Maintain accurate records of work and inspection packages within the ERP system.
    • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to product operations, collaborating with manufacturers as needed.
    • Support performance engineers with test analysis and troubleshooting.
    • Evaluate Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and changes to approved Source Information to ensure incorporation into production/operations activity.
    • Interpret and clarify instructions for continued airworthiness.
    • Conduct Material Review Board activity to control product cost and quality.
    • Establish and maintain unit build standards and engineering bill of materials.
    • Provide expert advice to customers on product serviceability, repair summaries, warranty, and failure analysis.
    • Support implementation of authorized repair schemes.
    • Maintain parts master data within the company ERP system.
    • Collaborate with logistics on part configuration management for repaired or exchanged parts.
    • Make meaningful contributions to continuous improvement activities within the business.
    • Ensure non-conforming products and processes are addressed according to company timelines.
    • Comply with the company Quality Management System (QMS), Safety Management System (SMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and associated business manual(s).

    Essential Requirements:

    • A recognized Aerospace Engineering qualification.
    • Experience in an aerospace repair organization.
    • Familiarity with regulations and regulatory requirements of the aerospace industry.
    • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to provide expert advice and technical report writing.
    • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and technical instructions.
    • Working knowledge of gas turbine engine and/or accessory theory and performance analysis.
    • Thorough understanding of manufacturing methods, shop equipment, and machining processes.
    • Working knowledge of MRO ERP systems, Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access software.
