Available Homes Officer has come up
for a 3 months of ongoing assignment.

Pay rate -
£16.86/hr PAYE, Umbrella rate would be 2 or 3 pounds more than the PAYE rate

Strong administrator/customer service experience. Good IT skills.

Letting experience/housing background would be beneficial but not essential.

Part time - 18 hours per week - flexible. Needs to be within one hour of Leatherhead and Hayward Heath.

Predominantly remote but required to attend meetings once a month at the above offices.

Responsibilities:

Accountable for the timely and appropriate letting of properties to minimise the loss of rental income to the association

Manage the end of tenancy process once a customer notice is received or a property has been repossessed, and attempt to retain tenants that have maintained their tenancy well

Liaise with Neighbourhood teams, Repairs team, contractors and Development to ensure that properties are ready to let, and are let, quickly and within target timescales

Advertise our properties quickly either directly or via a local authority under the terms of our nomination agreements
:

Work closely with local authorities to ensure that we offer our available homes to those most in need and in accordance with our agreements with them

Manage the process of shortlisting and arranging viewings efficiently and effectively
:

Prepare the tenancy agreement and arrange for the sign up of applicants, including in-notice viewings with the current tenant

Provide housing options advice to customers who are reaching their end of their existing fixed term tenancy with Clarion as required
:

Work with neighbourhood teams and asset management to identify properties and areas that are becoming hard-to-let and contribute towards solutions.
