Job Title:
Apprentice Plumber


Duties:

• Assist plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
• Learn to read blueprints and follow instructions to complete plumbing projects
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, and thread pipes
• Perform basic math calculations to measure and cut pipes accurately
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of plumbing materials and equipment

Skills:

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Carpentry skills for cutting and installing pipes
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for pipe cutting and fitting
• Mechanical knowledge for understanding plumbing systems and components
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to plumb, weld, and assemble pipes according to specifications
