Opportunity Description:


Bayswater College looking for qualified Business, Communication and Marketing teachers who would like work over the summer holiday period lecturing at a London summer camp.

You'll be lecturing in Global Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation to young international students aged 15 to 18. The aim of the programme is to give these students a university taster experience.


We are looking to create memorable and interactive learning experiences for goal-oriented students who excel academically and have a positive attitude towards learning and collaboration.


They will be able to create a safe and inclusive learning environment and will have the ability to adapt their teaching style to meet the needs of high performing students who are linguistically diverse.

Global Leadership Lecturer (youth groups)


Job Description:


Qualified Teacher of Business or related fields to teach a Global Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation course at our summer camp for international students aged 15 to 18.

The camp will take place at Westminster University's Harrow Campus for
2 weeks from July 10th to July 21st.

Responsibilities:


  • Teach interactive and engaging class with activities that promote active learning and critical thinking (70% of time)
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse linguistic backgrounds
  • Lead group discussions and activities
  • Provide support and guidance to students during the course
  • Attend training and meetings to ensure successful delivery of the course (10% of time)
  • Work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment as part of a team of professionals
  • Preparation and planning of the course material (20% of time)
  • Administrative tasks related to the role (10% of time)

Qualifications:

  • You should be a qualified teacher of Business or teach a related field with an interest in teaching and training young people in the areas of global leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working with young people is preferred but not required.
  • Must pass DBS checks and do Safeguarding Level 1 and Prevent training
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Available to work fulltime for 2 weeks in July at Westminster University's Harrow Campus
  • Must have a valid passport and work visa if not a citizen
Time Commitment: 100% for 2 weeks in July.
