Do you want a role where you make a meaningful difference to the lives on people in your community? Then join Dimensions as a Support Worker in Stanwell.

Dimensions are a leading not-for-profit provider of support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. Support Workers in Stanwell will work at one of two homes in the area (to be discussed at interview).

You will empower the independence of the people we support by enabling them to live the life that they choose.

3 gentlemen and 1 lady, live at the first home.

They are all outgoing people and would like Support Workers who can provide support in:


  • Shopping trips you name it they like shopping for it
  • Leisure activities including cinema and bowling.
  • Meals out; pub lunches; the odd Nando's and a cheeky Macy D's
  • Watching wrestling either on TV or at local events
  • Trips to the theatre
  • Setting up karaoke evenings in the home (be warned there are some massive Elvis and Abba fans in the house)
At the second we support 3 ladies and 3 gentleman.

They are looking for Support Workers who will be happy to assist them with activities including:


  • Going to classes including cookery, arts and pottery
  • Walks around Stanwell Park
  • Attending appointments
  • Weekly visits from an aromatherapist
  • Watching live music at home (we have local musicians who come to the house to perform)


The people at this house want you to know that although not all of them communicate using words they have other ways of letting you know what they want, this includes Makaton (a type of sign language).

Don't worry if you have not had to communicate in this way before as Dimensions provide all Support Workers with full training.

The people at both homes would be happy to meet full or part-time Support Workers. Shifts are & Dimensions can offer a payrate of £11.22 per hour.


We need Support Workers to be organised team players, to help us prepare some healthy balanced meal plans and support with cooking, support us with some or all our personal care and maintaining our health and our wellbeing.

Other important information:
