As a Senior Protection & Control Engineer, you will lead the design and integration of advanced Protection, Control and Metering systems for large-scale Offshore wind farms, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with international and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Protection, Control and Metering (PCM) systems are designed and delivered in accordance with regulations, industry relevant standards and best practices, you will manage and technically lead Protection, Control and Metering systems from tendering through all execution processes.
• Collaborating with Contract Managers for terms/specification to secure best value and minimise costs/risks, you will ensure that designs developed by different Contractors involved are consistent, technically safe and coordinated with the rest of the windfarm design.
• Managing interfaces with Contractors, Consultants and internal teams, you will be required to provide professional advice on engineering technical aspects and risk levels, ensuring that cost effective solutions are identified.
• Justification of technical decisions are also required to ensure all assessments, recommendations and decisions are fully documented and that sufficient technical and commercial due diligence is in place.
• Leading and coordinating Project Engineers, Consultants and Contractors where required to deliver the package for the project, you will ensure adequate testing is passed before delivery of the system to site, including witness to inspections and FAT at Contractor's facilities.
• Supporting commissioning activities for key engineering design items to ensure assets are effectively commissioned for transfer into O&M phase, you will ensure all Health and Safety and Environmental requirements are fully considered and adhered to in design.
