A wonderful Primary School in the BS48 area of North Somerset is currently looking for a caring Teaching Assistant who can support a pupil in the Year 5 class.


This school aims to provide a happy, stimulating, and supportive climate in order for their children to achieve their maximum potential.


The Role
Communication is key for this role.

You will need to work collaboratively with the Teacher to support a pupil in the KS2 class who has ASD needs.


This pupil is super intellectual but is really quiet and enjoys concentrating on his work outside of the classroom setting.


You will be expected to:

  • Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of the child.
  • Have high expectations for the individual to succeed.
  • Create a safe environment for the pupil to learn at their own pace.
  • Manage and support the child's needs.
  • Be adaptable with the learning opportunities.

Working with Long-term Teachers:

We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special

Schools.

Salary:
£91.00-£95.00 per day
