Job Description Your team**Avaloq UK is now recruiting for an experienced Programme Management Officer to support the growth of our PMO capability.


Avaloq is the leading provider of complete banking solutions to the Private Banking & Wealth Management industry, and this brand new PMO role will be involved in multiple projects around, Implementation & Support of the Avaloq Banking Suite (ABS) at new and existing clients.


What you will do:


You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, with emphasis on supporting projects through implementation with robust controlling & reporting.


Take accountability for initiatives across a variety of disciplines, you will deal with multiple stakeholders at all levels, supporting complex deliveries with high levels of attention to detail and quality.


This role will give you a unique opportunity to work directly with our end clients as one of the faces of our business.


Programme Planning:


  • Support to shape and plan the programme initially
  • Ongoing management of the plan including internal / external dependencies

Programme financial control and commercials:


  • Support initial definition programme costs
  • Tracking programme of costs against the budget
  • Production of client programme financial reporting
  • Drafting and issuance of SOWs to the client
  • Face off to the client finance function / financial control.

Partner management:


  • Support of Partner commercials and creation of SOWs

Resource management:


  • Management of resources (roll on / roll off / availability)
  • Resource onboarding and training

RAID management:


  • Internal / external risk and issue tracking, rating and management

Programme MI reporting:


  • Consolidation of workstream status reports into consolidated pack for Avaloq / Client programme management
  • Production of executive reporting
  • STC packs

Use of Avaloq standard tools and processes and leveraging what is appropriate for the project:

  • Developing standards and templates that can be used across UK and global programmes
  • Key support for the relevant programme manager

Qualifications What you need**- Strong demonstrable PMO experience or similar workstream/coordination experience with experience of supporting large complex programmes of work, (+40 FTEs) with budgets of £7m and above, ideally in a vendor / client relationship position.
- /Excellent verbal and written, communication and business and financial acumen, including ability to produce programme executive communications

  • Experience of supporting programmes reporting into Csuite stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills who can recognize "what good looks like" and is highly proficient at problem solving
  • Team player who will proactively takes early action to avoid issues arising
  • Ability to mentor/guide less experienced staff in areas of specialist knowledge

It would be a real bonus if you had:

  • Formal project management certification would be beneficial (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP)
  • Formal certification as a Scrum Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Experience of working in a Wealth Management or financial services/financial technology firm
  • Experience with project management tools especially MS Project and Jira
