Description

The Specialist Resilience Housing Coordinator role requires the following key responsibilities:

• To deliver exceptional customer service to homeless applicants and key stakeholders.

• To provide specialist homelessness casework to survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring all aspects of casework align with relevant legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives at national, regional, and local levels through effective case work supervision, advice, guidance, and support.

• To ensure the survivors' safety through timely interventions in incidents of female genital mutilation, forced marriage, and honour-based violence.

• To collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes for domestic abuse survivors with housing needs.

• To contribute to the dissemination and embedding of safeguarding best practice across the wider Housing Advisory Service.

• To contribute to the development of the Resilience Team and wider Housing Advisory Service.

The successful candidate will be a skilled professional with expertise in delivering high-quality casework services, excellent communication skills, and experience working with vulnerable populations. A strong understanding of relevant laws, policies, and procedures is essential for this role.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
