35 hours per week weeks (term time + annual leave)

07:30 - 15:00 daily (with 30 minute break)

£18,518 per annum (£12.42 per hour)


We are seeking to appoint a SEND Admin Co-ordinator to provide an efficient and effective SEND administration support service for the Learning Support area across the curriculum faculties.

In addition, the postholder will be responsible for the co-ordination of SEND data for students' school wide under the direction of the two SENDCos, as well as provide an initial contact for parents and carers, the Local Authority and external agencies.


  • Successful experience working within an administration role; working within a Learning Support environment would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Learning Support function and the various pressures placed upon the department
  • Educated to Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent qualification
  • Ability to establish rapport and to maintain respectful and trusting relationships
  • Experience of dealing with student behaviour
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • An eye for detail and the ability to provide accurate data entry and comprehensive reports and letters
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work in order to meet the demands and expectations of the department
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety, safeguarding and child protection
  • A commitment to equality and diversity and inclusion
