About the Role


This is a varied and interesting role supporting the research activities of Associate Professor Emily Jones and helping with communications and events of the UK Trade and Public Policy (TaPP) Network.

Emily Jones researches the politics of the global economy, and she is currently working on digital trade.

She co-directs the UK Trade and Public Policy (TaPP) Network with Greg Messenger, Associate Professor in Law at the University of Bristol.


Your tasks will include searching relevant literature and constructing a library of citations; producing short summaries of key publications; and producing tables, charts and diagrams for publication.

You will also assist with coordinating the TaPP network, including updating the TaPP website and assisting with the organisation of TaPP events.

This contract is fixed-term for 12 months.


About You


You will hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant social science discipline, and have an understanding of key policy issues in global economics governance.

You should have high levels of accuracy, attention to details, self-motivation and flexibility. Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills are also essential.
