SMR are looking for an off the tools supervisor to start in Kidlington.

Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of mechanical technicians and provide guidance and support
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop effective solutions
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate project timelines and resources
Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and recommend improvements
Train and mentor team members on mechanical procedures and best practices

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and logic controllers
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues
Project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects
