If you want to be part of an exciting and dynamic team, then F20 is the place for you. Team trauma comprises of three wards, working alongside one another and sharing best practice.

F20 is a 27 bedded ward and we care for a variety of patients with trauma and orthopaedic injuries. We are a fast paced ward, accepting our patients from ED. NUH is a national trauma centre we accept transfers of people from other hospitals, with complex injuries


You can expect to have a period of supervisory practice and induction, with the opportunity to work alongside our MDT.

You will gain knowledge around orthopaedic nursing and the tools required to care for our trauma patients as well as development opportunities

You will have the responsibility of caring for group of patients with complex needs along side the registered nurse for support and advice.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities


The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient/client care through personal actions and continuous improvement.

The post holder will support the Registered Nurse in ensuring the delivery of high quality patient/client care upholding dignity, delivered with kindness and compassion.

Provide and monitor the nursing care for a designated group of patients/clients during a care episode. Actively contribute to an effective learning environment and support others in their learning. The post holder will promote a team nursing philosophy of care.

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
