Housekeeper / Carers

Friary Meadow is a luxury retirement village in Titchfield, Fareham, Hampshire. It follows the extra-care model so staff are on site 24/7.

A team of Housekeeper / Carers provide domestic help such as cleaning and laundry at Friary Meadow as well as providing personal care services including help with dressing, moving about, toileting, eating, taking medicine etc.

The successful applicants will be a responsible and caring individuals with experience of providing personal care. We need Housekeeper / Carers that are prepared to work day shifts including some weekends.

The pay rate on weekdays is £11.45per hour and at weekends and bank holidays is £12.54. Weekend, bank holiday and evening work is needed from time to time. Night shifts will also be available in the future.

Pay rate are adjusted in January each year and no-one at Friary Meadow earns less than the 'Real Living Wage.

Responsibilities and Duties
Cleaning and laundry (including ironing). Personal Care. Some waiting table in our restaurant.

Qualifications and Skills
Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills are mandatory.

Some experience of providing personal care is essential and care qualifications are highly desirable.

This is also an opportunity to increase your qualification level as we will enrole you in training or apprenticeship schemes.
