Description

This full-time vacancy represents an exciting opportunity to join an innovative & fast paced analytics team, developing advanced data science / machine learning solutions to drive business performance and provide a truly data led approach to a range of commercialinitiatives.

You'll be working on a broad spectrum of activities, ranging from algorithm development and machine learning to complex demand forecast modelling, leveraging meaningful BigData insight to shape, steer and influence project direction.

Selection of skills required:

Strong academic research background, i.e. STEM honours degree (BSc) qualification and ideally MSc Data Science
Dedicated theoretical knowledge of statistical machine learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning
Strong Python/R experience
Selfstarter, happy to work alone or as part of a team
Excellent track record of original research is highly desirable
Passion for analysing data and ability to efficiently manipulate datasets
Good communication skills and ability to generate discussions around data analytics
Inquisitive mind and willingness to make the difference
Resilient and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Deliveryfocused with demonstrable track record of ontime delivery
Highly accurate with clear attention to detail

The Analytics hub (HQ) is located in the East Midlands (Leicestershire) although very much a hybrid working model - applicants are required onsite c1-2 day per week.
