We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant / Domestic Assistant at our beautiful Care Home in the stunning countryside of Evesham, Worcestershire, called Greenhill Park Residential Care Home.

We are a Good CQC Rated Home, with 30 bedrooms, providing outstanding care in beautiful surroundings.

Shift times for the Kitchen Assistant role are: 7am am and 3.30pm - 7pm.

Shift times for Domestic Assistant are: 7am - 11am.

30 hours per week. Alternate Weekends.

Assist the Chef in the preparation of meals._
- _
Undertaking preparation, plating and serving of meals to Residents, staff, and visitors as required._
- _
Preparing and heating up breakfast items and serve as required._
- _
Heating up or baking prepared supper food and serve as required._
- _
Preparing sandwiches as required by the Chef._
- _
Providing necessary crockery, cutlery, trays and serving utensils._
- _
Ensuring that the trolleys are clean and well presented before being transported to the floors for serving._
- _
Thoroughly cleaning all serving trolleys after each meal._

Food Preparation to serve hot and cold meals, as and when required according to the menu and resident preference (stand-in Chef role):

Prepare and store food, according to requirements set by the Environmental Health Regulations:

Domestic Assistant Role:_

Regularly clean our residents' rooms, regular cleaning of lounge and hallways, other communal areas and office areas, damp dusting, mopping floors and vacuuming as necessary_

What you'll need_

Ability to manage basic documentation e.g., cleaning schedules, Good written and oral communication skills, the ability to work unsupervised._

Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:_

We provide our staff with the training required for the role, so no direct kitchen experience is required, although it is beneficial._
- _
A background in Customer Service or a People Oriented Environment is desirable._
- _
Individuals who can adapt well to working as a team and independently_
- _
Individuals who have good verbal and written communication_
- _
Evidence of having undertaken relevant training i.e. health & safety, food hygiene is not required, although it is beneficial._
