We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join us here at the School of Healthcare, Enterprise and Innovation.
The School manages a number of contracts, the largest of which is the NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Co-ordinatingCentre (NETSCC) contract which this role will help to support.
Who is NETSCC?
We are one of the co-ordinating centre's for the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) and we fund a variety of commissioned, researcher-led and themed call research in health, social care, public health and Global Health.
We manage the identifying,prioritising, funding, delivery, publication and dissemination of high quality research and lead other NIHR initiatives to meet the needs of the public, patients and the NHS.
As well as our research management teams, we also have our support functions suchas Finance and Contracts, IT, Communications, people and business services that all contribute to the important work NETSCC funds.
All of our teams work together and use their expertise to help deliver the NIHR goal "to improve the health and wealth of thenation through research.
"What will you be doing?
Working within the Finance and Contracts team you will be supporting the Finance Managers with the financial and contractual administration of programmes within NETSCC.
Review and approve contracts and contract variation documentation
Reviewing projects financial reconciliation statements
Releasing, monitoring and reprofiling project payments

Whilst this role is office based we offer hybrid working, allowing some time to be worked from home and some from our Chilworth offices.
