_One MHA Community Co-ordinator based at South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw_
**Available Hours:?

Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week**£21,750 per annum


MHA have a unique opportunity to work within your local community to support older people to live later life well by increasing their social inclusion and wellbeing.

Here at MHA, we are working hard to combine our 3 core services, care homes, retirementliving and communities, together to create what we like to call a collaborative community.

Therefore, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Sheffield.

This position requires you to work closely with the community, building networks and engaging with other organisations as well as developing activities within our registeredservices at Southcroft and Fairthorn.

You will therefore require strong communication and organisation skills as well as a clean driving licence?and access to a car.

Confidence of working on different digital platforms will set you aside from other applicantsdue to our ever-developing online services used to increase our reach and variation.


The MHA Communities Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering a programme of activities, the scope of which will vary depending upon resident and member needs, desires, and abilities locally.

All activities will seek to reduce feelings ofisolation and loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of Retirement Living and Community settings.

This programme could include a mix of offerings such as lunch clubs, outings, and coffee mornings.

In addition, the post holder will be required to develop new activities which may include coordinating with other organisations such as local colleges to offerIT classes or arranging for a local professional to deliver a series of exercise groups.


Working in collaboration with local business, groups and community organisations, MHA offers a choice of exciting and fulfilling social and online activities for people aged 55 and over in Sheffield.
