The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive Testing business in Bedfordshire who hold an excellent reputation within the sector and are seeking a Senior Engine Test Technician to join them on a permanent basis working a earlies and lates shiftpattern.


Joining the Propulsion Engine Testing centre in Bedfordshire you will be responsible for running propulsion systems within a testbed environment including full set up, test cell configuration, servicing and running engine tests.

The role will be working withthe companies end users focusing on economy and emissions with a focus on engine performance.


The day-to-day duties include:

  • Test piece palletisation, installation and setup of instrumentation
  • Validate basic engine running within a test cell environment
  • Servicing and hardware changes
  • Identify and diagnose unit faults both mechanically and electrically

What we are looking for:

  • Automotive qualification within a testing environment
  • Strong understanding of gasoline and diesel engine operation
  • Automotive fault diagnostics
  • Organised with good communication skills


This is a permanent position within a reputable company where you will work earlies and lates on a weekly basis, with this a shift allowance is included.
