As a Bookkeeper within this firm, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the financial records of a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK accounting standards.
You will work closely with senior accountants and auditors to deliver comprehensive bookkeeping services, including the preparation of financial statements, VAT returns, and management accounts.
This role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements.
- Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.
- Reconciling bank statements and conducting regular ledger maintenance.
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide advisory support.
- Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and regulations.
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
Requirements:
- AAT qualified or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Detailoriented with excellent analytical skills.
