Riverside Out of School Care (ROSC) is a busy out of school care providing places for children for breakfast, after school care and holiday clubs.

We also provide places for children with additional support needs. ROSC is a charity and voluntary service with a committee made up of parents. ROSC is registered with the Care Inspectorate and was rated Excellent in its latest inspection.

We provide up to forty places every session for after school care, breakfast club and holiday club and are based in Riverside Primary School, Stirling.

The service provides breakfast club sessions 8am to 9am and after school sessions 3pm to 6pm during school term times.

We also run 8am to 6pm in most school holiday periods except Christmas and New Year and the Easter weekend.

We have an emphasis on outdoor play, encouraging children to play outside and we organise outdoor activities in the holiday clubs.

You should also have experience of working with children with additional support needs including autism. A relevant SVQ qualification is preferred but training will be offered.

You should be willing to ask questions and think and learn about all things relating to children's play.

Your role includes facilitating children's play by taking a child centred approach, providing a stimulating environment, following policies and procedures, participating in the quality assurance of the service and the supervision of other workers and being able to communicate with children and parents.

The children would like you to be fun, kind and caring, like art, be sporty and know when to leave them alone
