This team is responsible for the 2nd Level support of the centrally managed End User platforms: Mobility, Remote Access RAS, Server Based Computing Platforms, MobileIron, BlackBerry UEM, Intune, z Scaler and related platforms.


You will be responsible for driving knowledge improvement to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service Desk, engagement with vendors (including those providing managed or hosted services that deliver desktop or printing environments) and engineering teams for unresolved incidents.

The Mobility Operations team will be the service owner of the platforms and associated products and will be responsible for driving the service improvement plans, incident reduction through problem management, definition of communications and release plans and the engagement with 3rd party vendors.

Your key responsibilities

  • Be able to lead a team of 510 people delivering industry standard mobile and remote access products
  • Planning, engineering, deployment and support of monitoring and other automation and testing tools
  • Proactive monitoring and remediation of production support issues
  • Understand the full project lifecycle and take ownership of project deliverables to ensure successful implementation and integration of configuration changes
  • Produce FAQs/process improvement recommendations to reduce call volume

Your skills and experience

  • A solid understanding of the technologies used to deliver Remote Access platforms, including Windows Desktop and Server OS, UNIX command line, software distribution and patching technologies, VMware ESX, Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop technologies, Juniper RAS and Firewall products, Wyse Device, Intune, zScaler and cloud technologies
  • Azure/O365/Google Cloud experience
  • Good understanding of monitoring concepts and technologies; incident and problem management workflow processes
  • Excellent communication skills to cater to internal Deutsche Bank clients, End User Computing engineering and incident resolver groups, and external vendor service teams
  • DevOps/ITIL experience a plus
  • Confident to work autonomously and make decisions independently
