Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team.

As a Landscape operative for Gclm, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping tasks.

Work includes planting, drainage, Impact Aeration, fencing, paving, also helping out where required with Grounds maintenance.

This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of landscape maintenance, planting, and elements of hard landscaping and the use of power and hand tools.

Duties:

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
• Build and install landscape features such as fences, pathways, and retaining walls
• Dig trenches for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
• Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Use hand tools to perform detailed gardening tasks
• Assist with groundskeeping duties including litter removal and debris cleanup

Experience:

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to landscaping equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with different types of plants, trees, and flowers commonly found in landscaping projects
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
• Proficient in using hand tools for gardening tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
