WasteRecruit are pleased to be supporting a leader in the renewable energy sector in their search for a Research and Development Lead.

Heading up a team of chemists in the brand new laboratories and technical centre, this role will be at the forefront of initiatives and projects.

Longer-term the successful applicant will receive training that will potentially enable them to transition into a Head of Technical role in time.

The role will involve leading on the production of new products, testing new feedstocks and processes, and will spearhead engagement with internal and external stakeholders on technical innovation and development.

We are looking for someone with a degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, renewable energy/anaerobic digestion or chemistry/microbiology. They should also have a proven track record of delivering R+D projects/initiatives and managing a team.

Salary:
£55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
