Oxleaze Barn is looking for a full-time Event Assistant to join our team based on a beautiful working farm in the cotswolds.
Oxleaze Barn is a thriving wedding venue nestled in the countryside at the heart of an organic farm.

We conduct up to 70 weddings a year with a small, personable team and are seeking an events and operations assistant to support the team and the family.

This role is best suited to a graduate or someone with well-rounded knowledge of the events and wedding industries.

The Events and Operations Assistant will be a key player in the team, reporting into the Head of Operations and supporting the wider team.

Applicants must be willing to carry out a phone interview and face to face interview with a trial element.

Qualifications:

Event Management or Hospitality degree or 3 years' experience within the events, weddings, or hospitality business.

Existing skills and qualities:

Applicants must have a good understanding of Microsoft office.

Office experience is desired but not mandatory

Exceptional communication skills

Confident with a good telephone manner

Excellent organisational skills

Adaptable and flexible

Hours and Remuneration:

Permanent employment with a 3-month probation period.

Standard holiday and pension contribution with extra time off between Christmas and New Year when The Barn is closed.
