The Opportunity:

A permanent vacancy has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to support the Procurement and Warehouse manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager in the day to day running of the Warehouse.

Responsibilities:

To follow accurately the prevailing SOPs for Purchase Order Receiving goods into the warehouse, ensuring all irregularities are reporting in a timely manner to the supervisor
Perform stock management system requirements in accordance with the Management and Tracking of Loan Equipment protocols, ensuing due diligence in equipment tracking and lost/damage control
Perform the control and reporting procedures for all the Maintenance SOP requirements for the Warehouse
Maintain high standards of Housekeeping within the Warehouse in line with the Cleaning SOP
Deal with all customer orders (internal and external) in a timely manner with an understanding of the impact of delivering the orders in relation to customer's expectations and the demands of the business
Be aware of your internal stakeholder group and collaborate positively, timely and actively with this stakeholder group
Manage workload priorities through working as a team to deliver tasks in order of importance
Help maintain and improve excellent customer experience with other departments within Hutchison Technologies
Work as a Procurement and Warehouse team, providing personal experience and suggestions for improvements that align to strategic business performance goals
Role model the values, behaviours, and expectations set down by Hutchison Technologies
Ensure all health and safety processes are being followed within the Warehouse
Active participation with the prevailing Cycle Count process ensuring accuracy of the stock count/inventory to provide realtime validated stock accounting
Deliver the Waste Management SOP in place to minimise packaging/waste/disposal items within the business

Essential Experience:

Relevant warehouse experience
Demonstrable warehouse, stock management and logistics management, procedures, and continuous improvement experience
Forklift/Reach Truck Trained
Understanding the importance of Health & Safety, Good housekeeping and Waste Reduction
Can do, positive, selfstarter attitude
Selfconfidence born from experience with an openness to share experiences and to learn from others
