Group Financial Controller (must be qualified or QBE)

Salary:
£70k - 80k per annum plus bonus and generous company benefits

This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to progress to Finance Director level as the client would like to see the Group FC move into that role over time.
Our client is a national leader in the hospitality and food and beverage sector.

They are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join their dynamic team of 6 in the finance department and will be actively involved in partnering with senior leadershipto assist make financial decisions that will assist their growth plans for 2023.


This role offers very real progression into the Finance Director position as this role is currently not being filled at present and they want to train the Group FC to step into this position when the time is right.


Your duties will include:


  • Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, maintenance and development of all financial reporting, financial systems and information within the business. This includes local, group and regulatory reporting
  • Responsible for overseeing payroll duties, reviewing and authorization of payroll, P11D and other payroll compliances.
  • Ensuring compliance with all tax obligations including production and submission of all information required, such as, Vat calculations and submissions, PAYE, Corporation Tax, Director Personal Tax Returns
  • Responsible for managing and developing the Finance and Office Teams.

Your unique skillset includes:


  • Proven 5 experience as Group Finance Controller
  • Qualified accountant, ACCA or equivalent
  • Broad experience and proficiency in hospitality business
  • Strong knowledge of business commerciality
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
