Job Description Summary:

Dowty is in the process of updating its business systems in order to operate effectively and support its customers.

The business change readiness leader will develop the roadmap and plan for the change management required for the roll-out, training and employee experience across the global business, in particular the update of the UK enterprise systems to run the business more efficiently and effectively.


The business change readiness leader is required to operate across a span of functions with Dowty and build a network within the wider GE business.

They will also be required to develop a plan, get it approved, and ensure the employee experience has a high degree of acceptance when changes are implemented.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Experience in employee relationships and interactions at all levels of the organisation and demonstrated experience in negotiations/relationship management in an Unionised environment
  • Change management experience, particularly facilitation and change implementation
  • Change Management experience in significant business transformation
  • Experience in Manufacturing and leadership of shop teams, hourly and salaried.
  • Experience in problem solving and daily management
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coach employees at all levels.
  • Experience in facilitation, employee and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent drive and commitment with ability to work under minimum supervision

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Proven experience in ERP systems within manufacturing and services.
  • Significant Project Management experience particularly in change management roles.
  • Strong Leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
