  • Understanding appropriate areas of key liquidity measures as per the Group Framework (ILM, LCR, NSFR, PRA110, and other secondary monitoring metrics), Bank financial systems, related business areas, products and their strategic drivers

ROLE CONTEXT


The role sits within the Global Treasury, Liquidity team which is responsible for safeguarding and optimizing the Group's balance sheet and ensuring the Group's entities adhere to the liquidity risk management framework.

The purpose of this role is to supportthe Global Treasury Collateral Reporting team in the enhancement of the collateral reporting capabilities through design and delivery of technology solutions.

Furthermore, this role will require a level of technical expertise in delivering automated solutionsthat support the operational processes used in the management of collateral reporting.

As such the role will work closely with the Global Treasury Stress Testing and Analytics team.

The primary focus on commencement of the role will be the reporting of securities and loan collateral, including but not limited to:

  • Eligibility for Central Banks
  • Prepositioning and encumbrance of securities, cash and loans collateral aligned to the Treasury Liquidity platform used for Regulatory liquidity reporting
  • Enabling the projection of changes in these collateral levels during stress/resolution scenarios.


Key to delivery will be the ability to implement front-to-back automation changes required to capture and propagate the data required in the Finance/liquidity platform and manage dependencies and influence design of other workstreams within the programme.

The role holder will work with the Global Head of Intraday Liquidity and Collateral and broader collateral project team as well FIR Programme Manager, businesses, FCD Project Manager, Regional Treasury Liquidity and Markets Treasury teams across all regions.


The role holder will:

  • Work closely with business lines, regional liquidity teams, Markets Treasury and MSS teams to gain insight on attributes relevant to collateral.
  • Driving out operating model design and implementation, including definition of processes, procedures, roles and responsibilities both globally and legal entity specific.
  • Perform data analysis and validate new methodologies.
  • Develop visualisation and MI for collateral reporting.
  • Develop automated collateral forecasting capabilities to support liquidity steering and optimization.
