Description

Our client is looking for a junior broker to assist in the placing of insurance risks into Lloyd's and the London International Insurance Markets.

This is a perfect opportunity for a dynamic individual with energy and/or marine insurance experience.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Senior members of the team to assist them in their role.
Assisting in implementing marketing strategy for each risk, identifying and utilising most appropriate market in terms of security, coverage and value
Contribute to business development with recommendations during marketing and renewal meetings.
Help to develop and foster relationships with clients to attract new business and retain existing clients
Collate complete accurate and meaningful information for underwriters
Maintain and build on existing mutually supportive relationships with underwriters
Assist in the negotiate with underwriters on behalf of clients
Contribute to the achievement of divisional/unit budget
Support Account Executives/Technical division by providing relevant information and raising potential issues as appropriate
Assist in obtaining quotes to time scales specified/required by clients
Comply with relevant legal, regulatory and company's compliance requirements and procedures
Advise of any potential E&O's to management and compliance at the earliest opportunity
Perform other duties as required

Required:

Previous experience of energy and/or marine insurance.
A selfstarter as some of the team will be out travelling throughout the year.
Cert CII preferred but not essential
