Job Description/Person Specification/Skills Required:


Team:

Group Treasury is a small, specialised team working alongside the central finance function responsible for multi-currency funding, FX and interest risk, cash management, banking platforms, and payment processes.

The work involves a blend of financial markets, corporate finance, accounting, and project management.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Daily:

Prepare daily GBP, Euro, USD, and JPY cash management positioning, and forecast the net funding/deposit required in each currency; manage the cash settlements in multiple currencies of interest payments; confirm the details of trades and security issuances; and reconcile the daily cash management with the statement of the Group's total debt and derivatives position summary.


Weekly/Monthly:

Calculate monthly interest and fixed cost accruals; prepare forecasts for distribution to group; prepare reporting to Japanese Parent to determine guarantee fees and the amount of debt issued during month; analyse the FX exposure around the group and recommend a hedging proposal; and update the Group's Bank Mandates.


Ad-Hoc:

Liaise with Internal and External Auditors to ensure Treasury's compliance with controls; map processes; assist business with economic and market data; and perform quarterly reconciliations of derivative positions to ensure compliance with European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
