The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Data Analyst to join our team in Leeds.

Supporting some fantastic projects, our team of data scientists and analysts thrive upon advising our clients across the Water Sector and helping them gain invaluable insights from data through the adoption of technology.

You'll be joining an established and knowledgeable team delivering data management, processing and translation via database design, FME and GIS.

Data analysis using Tableau, Python, R and machine learning, Data visualisation with GIS, PowerB and web tools.

About you:

As an individual, you'll be innovative and have a desire to work within the water sector as well as:

Eligible to live and work in the UK at the time you start employment.

Desired but not essential:

Experience in Engineering or environmental data sciencerelated analytics
Knowledge of programming (e.g., Python, Ruby, C#, SQL )
Knowledge of web development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP)
Knowledge of business intelligence (Microsoft Power BI or equivalent) and GIS (ArcGIS)
Knowledge of data Mining/ Manipulation (FME)

Land Aid

Stantec has partnered with property sector charity LandAid as one of its corporate partners to join its mission to end youth homelessness.

In 2019/20, an estimated 120,000 young people asked for help from their local council because they were homeless or at risk of homelessness.

It's a problem that LandAid are here to help tackle.

As the Property Industry Charity, LandAid unite over 200 organisations from across the sector, working together to bring an end to youth homelessness.

As a Charitable Trust, they distribute funding to frontline charities supporting the young and homeless - and primarily fund capital projects, such as renovating homes and building bedspaces.
