Experienced Assembler - Factory
40 hours per week (full time 07:30am start, with a short day on Fridays),
Company location - TQ2 8JG.
£ £11.50 / hour - negotiable depending on your skills, overtime pay is also available during busy periods.
BMS Ltd manufacture high quality, innovative products for the golf industry. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic & positive person to join our assembly fabrication team. If you have experience in manufacturing, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret assembly instructions
- Assemble parts or components accurately and efficiently
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Package finished products for shipment or storage
- Some heavy lifting and physical work
- Picking products
- Helping to maintain the stores and workshop
- Tidiness and cleanliness of the facility
- Promote Good health and Safety Standards
About You:
We are a small family engineering company, that both designs and builds specialist hand tools for the golf and sports turf industry, you will be helping to assemble, build and package these products ready for despatch, on a daily basis.
- You can accurately use hand tools including chop saw, drills, spanners and measuring equipment (this will be tested in the interview)
- Lathe and Milling machine experience would be beneficial in this role but not critical.
- You have a keen eye for quality and attention to detail
- You are able to work independently and as part of a small team
- A fork truck license is desirable.

Salary:
£10.40-£11.50 per hour
