Description

Responsibilities:

Perform various warehouse duties including materials handling, picking, packing, loading, and unloading

Our client handles a variety of cargo ranging from live animals to luxury cars ensuring it is safely and securely prepared ready to travel.

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Load and off load Cargo trucks, operate additional mechanical equipment and perform manual handling tasks
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Assist with shipping and receiving processes
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in the environment. You will be expected to use handheld devices to locate and identify cargo and to process paper work in accordance with client requirments

Skills:

Strong materials handling skills
Mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment
Ability to build and stack pallets effectively
Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
Experience with picking and packing orders accurately
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
Knowledge of stock rotation and inventory management in a warehouse setting

Salary:
£12.50-£14.50 per hour
