Description
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
- Provide support and guidance to students in their learning and development
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback
- Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Familiarity with special education strategies and techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with toddlers or children with autism is a plus
As a AEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with educational activities, providing 1:2:1 support to students, and helping to maintain an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure the success of each student.
To excel in this role, previous experience working with children with challenging behaviours is essential. Additionally, knowledge of child development principles, special education strategies, and effective communication skills are highly valued. Experience working with children with autism is also beneficial.Job Types:

Salary:
£90.00-£120.00 per day
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Blackpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
