Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen.

Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and customer preferences
• Follow recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
• Assist in planning menus, estimating food requirements, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
• Assist in training new kitchen staff members

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering establishment
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Strong understanding of food safety practices
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
• Excellent time management skills

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or a related field is preferred but not essential
• A passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team

£12.40 per hour
