About Our Client:

Page Personnel Logistics have partnered with a leading logistics provider in their search for a Transport Supervisor.

This role will play a critical part in this organization's operation managing drivers and helping to optimise vehicle's collections and deliveries.

The role has been created due to fleet expansion and new contract wins.

As a Transport Supervisor you will report into the Transport Manager and will cover the following responsibilities across a fast-moving transport operation:

  • Be the main point of contact for transport queries from own drivers & sub-contracted hauliers
  • Active management of a Fleet of 50+ HGV vehicles.
  • Reviewing and ensuring the maximum utilisation of your fleet of vehicles.
  • Ensuring overall transport compliance in line with VOSA regulations.
  • Management of a team of 2x Coordinators and over 50+ drivers on a daily basis.
  • HR related queries 1to1's, Payroll, Disciplinary matters, RTW's.
  • A main point of contact for the customer service's team and the transport operation.

The Successful Applicant:

The successful Transport Supervisor will have an varied background in transport co-ordinating and daily supervision.

You will be required to encompass the following attributes:

  • 2+ years Transport OR Logistics experience
  • An outgoing and charismatic people manager.
  • CPC International is desirable but not essential.
  • HGV Class 1 Licence is desirable to understand your time in the industry
  • Commutable to Milton Keynes
  • Proven experience of operating in a fastpaced logistics environment.
