As a Database Team Lead at Ekco xTEN, you will play a crucial role in leading and inspiring our team to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team leadership: Manage the database team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to team members. Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Technical expertise: Demonstrate leadership in the database field by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and supporting team members.
- Point of escalation: Serve as a point of escalation for complex database issues, providing guidance and expertise to address challenges.
- Innovative problemsolving: Analyse customer estates and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and prevent issues.
- Design excellence: Create detailed and wellthoughtthrough database designs that enable the team to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Experience in a similar role as a Database Team Lead, with a track record of managing teams and overseeing projects.
- Expertise in database technologies, with a deep understanding of database management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support team members.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing database issues.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive and efficient database designs.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with a wide range of database technologies beyond SQL Server.
- Experience in driving innovation and implementing process improvements.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
