Key responsibilities & tasks:


  • Journal entries depreciation, prepayments, accruals etc
  • Reconciling the credit card statement
  • VAT reconciliation and returns (needs current experience) after processing necessary adjustments as fuel scale charges
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Nominal Month end procedures & year end
  • Stock adjustments after stock take
  • Signing off purchase invoices, checking nominal codes etc
  • Maintaining Fixed Asset register showing brought forward/ Additions and disposals etc
  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
  • Handling Bank accounts in different currencies
  • Raising payments via

  • Analytically minded
  • Knowledge of Bank and reconciliations
  • Double entry, Journal entry, reconciliation to Balance Sheet.
  • Excel / Word Microsoft skills
  • Excellent Time Management
  • Ability to robustly troubleshoot encountered issues independently

Benefits:

- £25,000 - £30,000 pro rata if part time
