Through Life Support - Operator Training Lead

Salary:
£52,084+ depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
- Accountable to the Training Manager you will be responsible for discharging work and reporting on progress, highlighting any issues
- Lead engagement with stakeholders to develop training devices and associated technologies
- Driving and disseminating system requirements
- Management of user and system requirements
- Leading the development of the route map and integration of training devices into the FCAS solution
- Capturing and managing Dependencies, Risks, Assumptions, Exclusions and Opportunities
- Integrating and aligning international partnerships on technology development for training devices
- Your responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with our partners, both within the UK and Internationally _
- Engaging and working with other teams and support as required_
- Operating within an AGILE environment_
Your skills and experiences:
- A background in some or all the following:
- Training Systems_
- Execution of Training for aircrew / operator personnel _
- Training Device or Solution development_
- Experience working in the early life cycle phase of a programme is preferable
- Knowledge of design, processes and life cycle
- Experience of requirements management processes and toolsets
- The use and authoring of technical documentation
- Experience working within a diverse and inclusive team with focus on leveraging technologies and concepts from a broad stakeholder group, both internal, external and nontraditional technology partners
- Relevant experience in training systems for aircrew, training solutions and systems is required
- Experience with engineering development processes and with working with customers directly is required.

The Through Life Support Training Team:
Based within the Training Team for FCAS, a once in a generation programme, the FCAS Operator Training lead will work within a Training team responsible for the Operator and Support personnel training design and development.
The role of Lead for Training devices and technology will work closely with the Concept and Service Design Lead to ensure solutions are aligned and integrated, pulling on the wider Air sector technology and capability development***
