Our client is looking for a Senior Planner on a permanent basis, located in Aberdeen.ROLE
The Planner will support the Lead Planner with all planning deliverables for assigned Project(s)/work within the Integrity Projects.
They must support in the overall delivery of business objectives through the aligning of deliverables to that of the individual Business Unit strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To support the Lead Planner within Projects
- To support the Project Engineers / Discipline Engineers in the successful delivery of all work within assigned projects
- To prioritise workload as required to meet the fluctuating demands of the contract
- Weekly Engineering and Construction progress collection and system input of CTR & FDS
- Production of weekly progress reports for assigned projects
- Production of Graphical Reports
- S Curves / Histograms as requested by Planners
- Understanding of client requirements and expectations
- To assist projects in maintaining appropriate professional standards for project execution
- To ensure that the technical work undertaken is consistent with the Discipline's professional standards for the relevant projects technical complexity
- To ensure that the project generated documentation reflects a fitforpurpose plan design and compiles with the contract requirements
- Promote awareness of Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality aspects of discipline of work to achieve fitforpurpose engineering
- To review opportunities for selfdevelopment through attendance at conferences, courses, seminars with approval of the Planning Team Lead
REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory
- Planning experience in a similar relevant role and planning experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Degree Qualified
- Working knowledge of P6 and Microsoft Project
- Ability to demonstrate technical capability
- Good level of secondary education
- Excellent communication skills
- Delivery focussed and committed to achievement of project/company goals
