Main Responsibilities;

  • Point of contact for drivers, ensuring there is ongoing communication with the drivers
  • Managing drivers hours in relation to meeting customer needs
  • New Orders, ensuring work is planned to meet delivery timescales
  • Act as a point of contact with the customer regarding any queries to Deliveries or on the day of delivery or before; escalating issues if necessary
  • Willing to adapt hours/schedule to meet the business needs
  • Have good communication with the core team within the company
  • Work as an individual or part of a team

Experience required ;

  • Good Geographical Knowledge
  • A background of Transport Planning
  • Calm communication skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Knowledge of I.T systems and portals
  • Previous planning of transport/deliveries is essential

Experience advantageous;

  • Stream Planning software
  • SAP knowledge
  • Vehicle tracking software
  • LGV Tacho Rules

Salary:
Up to £25,000.00 per year
