The Learning & Development Service are looking for an ambitious, motivated, efficient and highly organised person to take on the post of Medical Education Administrator who really wants to make a difference to our staff and the patients we care for.


We are looking for a confident, professional individual with strong communication skills and has excellent interpersonal skills, able to adapt to changing priorities and is enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude.


Reporting to the Medical Education Co-ordinator you will engage with key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation, to ensure Medical Education is quality assured and successfully delivered.


The post holder will work as part of a dynamic friendly team in delivering an effective service, supporting the Director of Medical Education and the Student Lead in the delivery of excellent education governance and Medical Trainee (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) programmes.


To provide support with organising all medical education within the Trust, in respect of the Foundation Programme, CT and ST training (core training and specialist training) coordinate the academic programme - journal club and the Undergraduate programmes held within the Trust.

Also to support the SAS Tutor in organising and coordinating training and educational events.


To provide admin support to the DME with; quality assurance, diary planning, attending deanery meetings, preparing annual reports, liaison work, governance / feedback.

Coordinating DME with pastoral issues.

To provide support and cross-cover where appropriate for the L&D administrators.
