The core role of our Leaders is to deliver the very best performance through their people by keeping our Purpose, Strategic Aims and Values & Behaviours at the heart of all they do whilst developing their team with stretching goals to build capability andambition.


Day to day you'll­:


  • Lead on the development of the framework Group wide, including strategic priorities, and where necessary enhancements to Org. Design, TOM and Delivery Roadmap.
  • Translate strategy into actions and delivery plans, effectively communicating and delegating to their teams.
  • Provide EC expertise together with SME's to drive change, as the Business looks to refine/ improve processes and controls currently impacting customer experience.
  • Take ownership of business case development and pursue funding for investment priorities as outlined within the Roadmap/ Plan.
  • Proactively engage with senior internal and external stakeholders on FC matters, including but not limited to Executive, CIO, Business leaders and Financial Crime Teams.
  • Enhance the banks intelligence led approach to prioritise resource to where risk is highest.
  • Develop Governance and Reporting framework to support oversight of EC matters.
  • Proactively lead and raise the capability and retention of all colleagues through coaching and development activities
  • Support the business through increased FC input into strategic programmes, including the Bank's digital ambition, ensuring FC processes and controls support these programmes.

There are a few essentials you need to bring

  • Strong EconomicCrime Policy and Regulation expertise, in particular AML/CTF and sanctions.
  • Proven track record of strategy development from idea to securing investment
  • Demonstrable track record of operating to Board subcommittee level internally
  • The ability to influence at all levels, in particular senior stakeholders
  • Experience of delivering regulatory driven change within a Retail bank environment.
  • Knowledge of Retail Banks products, distribution channels, customer types (retail and business mass market).
