Bluesky Architects are seeking aGraduate Part II Architectural Assistant to join our growing design practice.
Bluesky is a uniquely skilled design team working on projects across bluelight, health, education, and commercial sectors.
We have a strong reputation with Tier 1 contractors and clients across these sectors for delivering creative design solutions, whilst supporting the commercial and budget realities of our clients.

Job Summary
This role supports a range of projects across a variety of sectors such as blue light, ballistics, healthcare, education, commercial and residential.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
Working through RIBA Job Stages 0-7.
Working with the Lead Architectural Technologists and Lead Project Architects to:
- Develop project brief and objectives, including quality objectives, and project outcomes.
- Develop feasibility studies and reviews of site information. Assess and request relevant site survey information.
- Develop designs including all BIM outputs and information, outline specifications and other supporting information, along with relevant project strategies in accordance with design programme.
- Eliminate, reduce and manage all significant risks within your design proposals.
- Prepare technical designs to include all architectural information and specialist subcontractor design and specifications.
- Specify the nature and quality of materials required.
- Negotiate with contractors and other professionals.
- Attend regular site visits to inspect compliance, progress, and quality.
- Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure the environmental impact of the project is managed.
Key Skill / Experience Requirements
- BA (Hons) or BSc (Hons) Architecture
and MArch or BArch Architecture - Good construction knowledge and clear understanding of Building Regulations.
- Revit/BIM and AutoCAD proficiency is essential.
- Excellent design and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud publishing software.
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A good team player who is willing to support the wider team.
