Description

We are recruiting for immediate start. A committed and proactive Night Porter who would enjoy working in a boutique Hotel & Bar.

The Night Porter will be responsible for the site and ensuring that guests are receiving excellent service throughout their stay.

Key duties of the role:

Comply with customer service standards
Responsible for the overall security of the hotel during the shift
Act in accordance with all security and emergency procedures
Ensure a high level of presence in the Reception and Bar areas
Basic knowledge of working in a Bar environment with the ability to make and serve alcoholic beverages for room service
Carry out room service requests for drinks and snacks
Some Cleaning duties
Ensure that guests who are checking out early have a smooth check out
Serve as a point of contact for all customers and hotel residents
Setting up for breakfast and breaking down after evening events
Address and resolve questions and queries relating to guest enquiries
Compile daily handovers for the early shift staff
Excellent communication skills with a confident manner
Good team player
Highly motivated, dedicated and reliable

The shift pattern will be 2 nights a week on a Monday and Tuesday night and covering holidays. Holiday cover needed is Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th March as well as usual Monday and Tuesday. There is also the opportunity to pick up some bar shifts

Required to start this week for training.
