About The Role:

HSE Compliance is critical to our business and as the HSE Compliance Partner you will play a pivotal role in delivering and maintaining the business's compliance and positive culture for legislative requirements company wide.

You will work directly with the HSE Manager and liaise closely with the management team.

You will ensure that robust management systems are in place to ensure that legislative compliance and company standards are driving continuous improvement.


Core Business Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with legislative and other key stakeholder requirements working closely with other management system owners
  • Ensure that any of our company's insurance requirements, risk assessments and reports are actioned in a timely manner appropriate to the request of the insurance organisation
  • Any HSE actions raised from external risk assessment reports are managed to an appropriate close out for all parties.
  • Conduct Health, Safety and Environmental audits and inspections to ensure site compliance is maintained, recording actions for department completion.
  • Motivating employees to not only strive to meet compliance standards, but also to exceed them for operating efficiency
  • Leading and helping in the design of programmes that improve compliance
  • Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program ensuring that all key and required HSE legislation is considered, such as LOLER, PUWER, COSHH, Fire Regulatory Reform, Environment Protection Act, WEEE, Hazardous Waste and others defined within our legal register.
  • Advise management on the company's compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Liaising with external bodies to be aware of changing industry requirements
  • Support the H, S & E Manager in reviewing performance collating and monitoring data, monitoring actions logs and calculating Key Performance Indicators.
  • Having a full understanding of the company HSE reporting systems and ability to share this knowledge with others
  • Deliver health, safety & Environment inductions for all new starters and those requiring a refresher

About You:


Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 3 years' experience within a similar HSE role
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Facilities experience would be advantageous
  • Training experience
