1st Line Remote IT Support/Hardware Repair Technician

My client are a small IT Support & Hardware Repair Company based in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire.

We are not only looking for a qualified Support/Repair Technician, the role requires excellent personable skills.
1st Line Remote IT Support/Hardware Repair Technician
Main Duties

  • 1st Line IT Support Using Teamviewer (and occasionally alternative remote access software) to log into client's machines/servers to resolve issues including but not limited to:
" Slowness and corruption
" Software installation
" Printing & scanning issues
" Windows Remote Desktop server performance issues
" Exchange server issues
" Setting up multi-factor authentication
IT Repair Technician - Physical hardware and software repairs including but not limited to:
" Laptop screen replacements
" Laptop battery replacements
" Hard Drive and SSD replacements
" Windows and Apple Mac Operating System upgrades and reinstallations
" RAM replacements and upgrades
" Fan replacements
" Virus and malware removals
" Data transfer and recovery

Other duties:
" Washing up
" Taking card payments over the phone
" Answering the door to customers
" Knowledge sharing/point of escalation to help other members of staff
" Drafting quotations
" Proof-reading drafts for other members of staff
Hours of Work - Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
