ER/HR Advisor

Permanent / Full Time

Due to our continued success, we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team in Scotland.

The Role:

Reporting to the Director the jobholder would be required to provide advice and support to client organisations in all aspects of HR and employee relations.

In addition, the successful person would be required to help promote the services offered by the Company, attend networking events and develop a network of prospective clients.

Given our wide-ranging client base this role will suit someone who has membership of the CIPD with a minimum of 2 years' relevant practical employee relations' experience within the private sector with excellent communication skills, pragmatic problem-solving skills and good time management ability.

The successful person will be an integral part of our team but will be required to work independently based on the needs of our clients.

In addition, the ER/HR Advisor would be expected to carry out the following tasks:

Provide pragmatic and professional advice and guidance (both remotely and face to face) to clients ensuring that the client is aware of potential risks/benefits to their organisation.
Prepare letters, reports and documentation for clients in relation to employment documentation, grievance, disciplinary and/or harassment investigations / hearings and other HR matters ensuring compliance with any employee statutory right or employer obligation.
Maintain an uptodate knowledge of employment legislation and to brief clients as necessary.
Undertake consultancy assignments or trainingrelated project work, if requested, and produce written reports for client organisations.

Hours of business are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (flexible working would be considered)

Required Criteria

Do you have membership of the CIPD?
A minimum of 2 years' relevant practical employee relations' experience within the private sector?
Excellent communication skills
Pragmatic problemsolving skills
Good time management ability
An integral part of our team but will be required to work independently
Hold a current driving license
