Job Purpose
- This role will manage and overlook key HR processes and provide HR support on Disciplinary, Capability and Grievance issues for the Grimsby sites. You will work with managers to resolve employee relations issues and ensure adherence to the Company's Policies and Procedures.

- Young's has over 200 years' experience in the Seafood market and uses more than 30 species which are sourced from 5 continents. Our team takes products from conception through to production and prepares over 300 million seafood dishes for the UK consumer every year inspiring people to eat fish twice a week.
Key Accountabilities
- Education and facilitation of line managers on all disciplinary, capability and grievance (DCG) issues.
- Case management of 'absence' cases; engagement with site HR managers, line management and occupational health to facilitate employees' return to work.
- Promotion of compliance with key business standards: including Equal opportunities, Health & Safety, Food Safety
- Regular analysis of MI to identify positive and negative trends. Engagement of line managers to promote positive trending.
Focus to include:
Absence / LTS; DCG Activity
- Act as a point of contact for employee and line management queries and activities relating to HR polices and process.
- Effective 'case management' of employee / line manager queries to satisfactory resolution.
- Respond to all queries in accordance with time and quality KPI's.
Skills and Experience Required
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification (or be working towards) including a working knowledge of employment law issues.
- 12 years experience in a similar role, including management of DCG processes and procedures
- Evident confidence in presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- A personal commitment to role model behaviours and company values
- A working understanding of Microsoft Office
